In the early morning we learned how to sail upwind and reviewed jibing. Sailing upwing was really complicated cuz you have to zigzag in and out of the no-go zone or else you get stuck. You can also get stuck if there isn't enough momentum.
After about 10 minutes we had to head out to set up a little boat for each of us. It was like bumper boats. We would've been fine if the wind didn't keep switching directions. One moment you're zooming along, the next you find yourself stuck in the no go zone. After we did the course we followed our instructors out to the other side of the bay. Pretty easy, then we had to go back upwind, which a bajillion times harder. I bet this cracker 11 year old that he couldn't beat me, but he did and cheated. A bunch of people got beached when the wind switched directions and others got water in their boat if they over-sheeted. I didn't get beached or water in my boat =3
Two of the 7-year-olds had to be hauled back on motorboats because they got way too much water in their boat. They're too small to balance out the weight of the mast and boom.
During lunch I bought myself a coke and mike-and-ikes =3 yummy
After lunch we took a bus and went snorkelling. Well we had that option. If we didn't want to we could just stay and play at the park. I didn't feel like getting wet so I just stayed at the park and watched people jump-rope and play tag.
